Hello 423 Praise family,

I would first like to say how grateful I am for all of the volunteers who participated in our first event for 423 Praise. There was so much that went on behind the scenes, prayer warriors, intercessors, down to the nitty gritty of setting up and breaking down. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We pray blessings on all of your families.

This has been a true journey for us. If you know anything about me and my life, then you know that if you told me a year ago that I was going to be starting a non profit for full time ministry for music, I would have definitely said you had the wrong guy. God truly has a way of using circumstances in your life to bring you back to who we're intended to be.

I would like to share a little bit of honesty with you all about this journey. Although most of us can agree on the fact that God is great and in control, that does not mean that we don’t go through trials or discouragement. I have had many instances this year of people questioning if this was a right fit for me. Asking if I’m sure this is really what God wants from me. There's been many who have questioned if there is even a need for this type of gathering, and if I'm being honest with myself, I have asked myself a lot of the same questions. But through prayer and seeking after God I know this is right where he wants me.

God is trying to bring us back to the heart of worship, to get lost in a melody honoring him, and remember that moment when God first spoke to you. That new Love. That intimate place where you decided to follow him. Jesus wants you to remember who you are. Yes this world is hectic and it seems like there's never enough hours in the day, but I would encourage you to slow down and listen for God's voice. That is the whole purpose of these events. To praise God through music and create an opportunity to hear what he has in store for our lives. It only took me 40 years to realize God is always there, ready to talk. We just have to drown out the noise.
